You will need to install the device drivers for the nouns device and Modem... these should be on the original disks you have with your Laptop....
If that fail you could use a friends system to go to Dell website www.dell.co.uk choose 'support' and after 'all tech support' and put in the any the tag number or the take home model of your laptop and download the most up to date drivers for your machine and later burn them to CD and use disc to install drivers on your laptop... Alternatively if you know someone who runs a network (like me) which have internet access plug into the network and access the network that way... the system will in recent times need recounting the network/domain name surrounded by network setup....

Try reinstalling the drivers next to the dell diagnostics disk otherwise enjoy calling India
You call for to install your DRIVERS of your motherboard ( Sound Card , Graphic Card ... ect ) :)
if you don't have the diagnostic disc, download adjectives the drivers on another computer burn the files to disk and install them on your computer.
This also happened to my laptop as economically...
The problem is that your driver is not installed. If you've just re-installed Windows, adjectives of the drivers are gone. If you have the software disk (NOT THE OPERATING SYSTEM!!!) that should own come with the computer, it will install every entity you need. If you don't hold the disk, you'll need to step online and download them manually...not sure about that though.
you should enjoy driver cd's from when you purchased the laptop you will need to use these. (if you own lost them try this)
connect to windows updates using ethernet cable since you hold no wireless & choose CUSTOM UPDATES - once this loads on the left mitt side you will notice 3 option
1) Critical updates
2) software updates
3) Hardware updates
Click on 3 hardware update and you could find your Sound & wireless drivers listed. - click the boxes subsequent to them and install with adjectives crutical updates.
