I have also hear that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works well. I've hear others say that using eyeglass cleaner is also influential. Finally, I found a forum thread discussing solutions to use at http://forums.whirlpool.web.au/forum-rep... The summary: Eucalyptus oil works, but experiment it in an inconspicuous nouns first. Chux Magic Erasers work as well, but they can be slightly rough, so be very thorough. Or, JIF + paper towels. Just be persuaded to NEVER PUT THESE CHEMICALS ON YOUR SCREEN.
If all of the above fail, and if your MacBook is still under warranty, telephone call Apple Care or take it within to an Apple Store and ask what you could do. An Apple Genius would most likely know.
Unfortunately, I be not able to come across an concluding all-in-one solution. It seems that these products hold varying effectiveness depending on what is anyone cleaned off of your MacBook. Hopefully, though, one of the above products will do the trick for you. I would suggest starting near the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, since I hear that one pop up a lot.
Mr. Clean is the God of black scuff cleaning, his weapon, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It's cheap, buy a pack from the supermarket and impart it a whirl. It works wonders; pretty much cleans anything a sponge can't. (recommend you don't use on dirty dishes)
