Toshiba laptop, LDC display wont come on?

Any suggestions? I tried to hook up a VGA monitor but it didn't work any. Model number is: 1115-S103

Answer:
Lift the keyboard and find your vid card and see if its heat. You may have to consent to it run awhile. The vid card may have crapped out on you. Or your hit. Check and make sure your strike is still seated properly. My wifes sony did it once. Ended up the ram stick come loose.
