Yeah I am biased. I have be a computer user for most of my life presently. I used a PC my entire life, and in a minute my friends convinced me to get a Macbook Pro, and I love it. It have extra things, but isn't too different, and has most regular PC programs similar to Microsoft Office, etc. Best computer I've ever had by far.

I had a sony vaio during my undergrad. Now I'm getting my masters and I get myself a newer sony vaio because my first sony vaio was so great. It depends on what you are going to college for. if you are doing any nice of new medium, photography or cinematography a mac is better than a pc. If you are going for a PC, I would recommend the sony vaio. I enjoy had desperate experiences with almost adjectives dell laptops and several of my friends have complained around their HP laptops. I dont know anything about the other brands.
