I've lately bough a macbook. Is it better to switch it stale overnight or put it to sleep?

Off is best. Your comp and the mac OS will feel just give or take a few anyhing you can throw at it, but if ALL your aps are not absolutely idyllic, you may get a bomb or a frown
I also own a laptop and the best solution for me is Hibernate...
Either way really make no difference to the computer, Macs are built with highly developed end components than your standard PC and can run fine for days lacking a need to "rest"
oooh me to but im addicted to macs,,, i'd influence put it to sleep if you use it ALL THE TIME,,, it takes more power to turn it on and rotten, than to put it to sleep. but if you dont use it alot then i'd vote turn it off
okay if you plan on it doing something overnight then put it to sleep... save then turn it stale.
if your not using it turn it off
