Buying a laptop?
for example.....
Intel Duo Core 2 T7200 2Ghz 4MB Cache|667 Mhz
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 @ 667 Mhz RAM
100GB SATA HDD @ 7200 RPM
256MB Ge Force 7300 GS Video Card
85 WHr 9-Cell Lithium IonBattery
what the hell? this looks similar to gibberish to me, can you guys tell me what these things connote?
Answer:
that's a very nice laptop. 4mb cache is going to give a hand CPU performance closely! I only hold 2mb level 2 cache contained by my desktop and it's very leet. Ram speed is right and there's plenty of it. I'd recommend running Windows XP on it though. Graphics card is decent and will run most games on environment settings. The 7200 RPM is the hard drive speed and it's markedly good! That's what my complicated drive speed is and I can load games resembling a beast.
Intel Duo Core is a processor that make things go faster.
Dual Channel is RAM, which make is go faster, and is needed for games and such.
100gb Sata HDD is your unyielding drive which stores everything on your computer like your programs.
The video card is needed to run games near fancy graphics.
Lithium Ion battery is the mobile, that gives power to your computer.
I'll bring up to date you, thats one smoker of a laptop!
Its about hardware and its pretty virtuous too
My brother says it's manner of a bad concept to buy a laptop right now because adjectives the new technology is coming out right presently. but if I were you, buy a laptop beside Windows(R) Vista Home Basic.
the intel core 2 duo means that you hold one computer processing chip that has 2 cores on it so its similar to having 2 computer processing chips within one. the way it be explained to me is like taking a one lane highway and adding together another lane to it to double the amount of space for cars. the 2ghz is how fast the information get processed.
the 2gb dual channedl ddr2 is the amount of RAM (random access memory) you have installed. These are chips installed on your computer that temporarily holds information until you turn bad your computer then it get erased until the next time you turn on your computer. this is so you enjoy easily accessible information for you stored on those chips. Lets articulate you open microsoft word seriously. it gets stored on the RAM so it will be faster when you overt it.
the 100gb SATA HDD is your Hard Disk Drive. This is the amount of information that you can store on your computer. this is how it goes. bite-kilobite-megabite-gigabit... for a laptop 100gb is terrifically good. the 7200 RPM is how nippy the HDD spins. the faster it spins the faster you are able to gain your information. Anything higher than 7200 RPM is a special proclaim. so 7200 RPM is good.
the 256 mb ge force 7300 gs video card is a chip dyed-in-the-wool to your screen. the video card remembers where on earth each pixels should be and know where respectively pixel should go subsequent. 256 mb of memory on a video card is good.
I dont know too much nearly batteries though.
