Get as much ram and as big a strong drive as you can.
Personally, I would not recommend a Toshiba laptop. Within a three month span, (1) my work laptop blue-screened and nothing could be recovered from the sturdy drive and (2) my personal laptop died and the motherboard had to be replaced. Both be less than one year prehistoric (my personal laptop was solitary 6 months old) and different Satellite models.
If you are really dead-set on a Toshiba, definitely return with the warranty!
You should get a Toshiba Satellite notebook. A fingerprint scanner is for deposit purposes. Your computer will recognize you by your baptism through the fingerprint scanner.

I reccomend the Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467. It has awesome specs and is smaller amount then a august. The finger print scanner is for security purposes. GL
