1gb push + dyed-in-the-wool or 2gb +intergrated?

If I go and get a 2gb ram laptop beside 256 shared memory, will it be the same as a 1gb run into laptop with 256 intergrated memory.
I kno illustrative cards won't be the same, but is nearby much difference if its a new laptop?

Answer:
No, it won't be one and the same, the first configuration you listed will enjoy 1GB more (minus a max of 256MB for video). In all odds, both are sharing, as most dedicated laptop graphics cards still share beside system memory.

Is 1GB enough? It depends, if you're running Windows XP, it's fine. If you're planning on your bright system running the new Windows Vista, you'd be far better past its sell-by date with 2GB of RAM.
1 GB near dedicated is better.
