My laptop wont stir up presently its enter power shareholder mode?

my laptop have gone into power saver mode and in a minute wont wake pay for up. I have started a word document which I really dont want to lose so I dont want to only switch it off and on again. is within a button or something i can press to wake it support up?? and does anyone know how frequently word saves documents so if i own to turn it off will any of what i've done be save?

Try pressing the return key. That works near my laptop.

When Word open a document it creates a acting file surrounded by the same directory as the folder you are working on. It will have the .tmp extension.

If you cannot stir your PC by pressing return, it may be locked up and need to be reset. Press and hold the power button. Hopefully the interim Word file will still be here and hold your changes.
Try pressing the foremost on/off button and holding it in for a while. This should shut the contrivance down fully and allow a fresh start up.

If you are lucky then word will own made a backup copy of your document

Normally a short press of the on/off button should wake up your gadget
Recent versions of Word (2002/XP onward) accumulate recovery information as commonly a you've set them to. I have mine set to every ten minutes. (Tools->Options->Save tab)

Take the battery out to restart but might lose your directory sometimes windows auto save word files i think.
