Laptop internet?

I own sbc on my desktop computer i am about to buy a laptop. what do i call for to use my sbc internet on my laptop. can i make it wireless and use the sbc internet story on my laptop or what thanks for the serve. I dont know much at all more or less laptops.

By "sbc on my desktop" I integer you mean you own SBC DSL. You have a small box call a DSL modem attached to your computer via an ethernet cable. To use your new laptop beside a wireless connection to the SBC DSL modem you will involve a wireless router or access point. Then you would connect you DSL modem to the wireless router and attach your desktop to that. Finally you would have to configure the router and laptop nouns.
