Laptop comfort!!?

When i start up my laptop, i hold a black screen that appears asking me which operating system i would close to the laptop to use. I get an leeway of 30 seconds to choose which operation system i would close to to use, before the laptop uses the picking that is highlighted. Is in attendance an setting that i can change so i don't own to keep seeing this black peak because the 1st option on the schedule is the one that i want my laptop to use.

Answer:
Right click on My Computer, select properties.

Click on the advanced tab.

In the Start up area click on the setting button.

Set the Time to display startup option to 0.

This will cause the OS to boot straight into the evasion option.

When you find into the system and it starts up fine, right click on My Computer. Then go to Properties. In the Properties you should see an Advanced Tab. Go in attendance and in Startup and Recovery click Settings. This you can customize to not show that message! Or you can alter the Boot.ini record in this nouns to delete the older system that you no longer want to boot choice from.
Go to start menu -> "run" -> type "msconfig", then find boot.ini and see if there's an route for it there. I will I could give you more information because I have this problem for a while and I got rid of it, but I'm not at a computer where on earth I have access to tolerate you know what it is.
When the laptop is booting you can press f2 or f4 to go into the system bios. It differs depending on manufacterer. You should see a menu peak with "boot options", select brisk boot or "enable rapid boot". If you have an OS that you do not use on a separate dividing wall you could always delete it. Hope this is encouraging.
Yes there is.

Open My computer. - goto Tools Menu - Folder Option.
View Tab - Scroll down... a bit
Make sure Show underhand files button is selected.
and construct sure and also make sure to uncheck the box that say Hide Protected Operating System files.
Also uncheck the box that says: Hide extensions for specified file types.
Goto C: (or your local drive)
There should be a record named Boot.ini
right click on it and select properties.
Make sure Read-Only Box is unchecked (so that subsequently you can save the changes)

Copy the boot.ini record and paste it to a intervening folder that you can create. (Just for backup purpose.. incase your mod of the file doens't work)

Now finally initiate the Boot.ini file next to a text editor.

2 Operating system moniker will appear in the record, which are the ones you see in the start up.
You entail to delete the one you don't like.
If the operating system that you in general use is selected surrounded by the start up, you can just tweaking the Timeout=30 to Timeout=0
Which will not wait for you to choose and choose the failure to pay one.. so if your normal OS is already elected, this option would be flawless enough.

After your done, squirrel away the file, and label sure you go subsidise and check the Read-only box.

good luck
