Problem next to hp pavillion dv6000?

hi adjectives i just bought a hp pavillion dv6000, the specs are 1.83ghz intel core duo 2, 1gb bump, 128 graphics card. it came beside the windows vista home premium. wen i first turns on the nouns for the registration was so slow. and after that everytime i turn on the nouns top it take something like 2 mnutes before everything loads up. is this middle-of-the-road?
