Windows Vista is a great program right now, and if you only just got you computer, you can bring it into best buy or tech store of your choice. They will defanatly be capable of help. The sooner you seize Vista, the less stress it will be to upgrade latter.
I want to know your specs before I can cause a decision on whether or not you should do it. Personally I read aloud No, let everyone else find out what's wrong and continue for the fixes to come. Just like when XP come out it took about a year or so for Service Pack to fix everything(or fix enough)

No Vista does not come near a full office. No don't walk to Best Buy to have them charge you a ridiculous amount to do that. I assume it's like $150.00, I would a bit you call me and for practically nought, I'd help you out.
Windows Vista Business Edition have nothing to do near their OFFICE program. Thus it is NOT included with Vista surrounded by any Version.

However, an excellent alternative to Microsoft's OFFICE is "OPEN OFFICE" and it's FREE!!!!!
