I own a IGO Mobil Adapt adjustable dc adapter. Model # 45200, with 5 different tips.I enjoy not used it within a while , but recently acquire a computer that works with it .I newly need to know how to desire which direction the tips should be connected. There is a + and - on each tip, beside two prongs and the plug says TIP. Should the positiveor glum symbol be aligned with the word TIP. No other markings appear to support with correct alignment.
Answer:
Tip as it is worded here, define the inside of the plug, and is also the part that sticks out the most advanced. There is an inslutaor between the tip and the main outer shell. The "tip" should other be positive, and the outer shell connector should always be gloomy. In the same respect, it should lone work if it is connected properly. Running a reverse polarity should cause the system to not power on, since this could burn out the other circuitry. Hope this help
