What iis better for a 10 years ripened a laptop or desk?

desktop so you can watch them. laptop they can stir anywhere and no telling whos out in attendance waiting. this way you can hang on to them home when they are online, supervise there happenings.
A desktop. they might break a laptop, plus a desktop is cheaper than a laptop.
I think a desk top, they are harder to steal;)
a laptop is OK my 9 years outdated have laptop and enjoy parents protection even my 6 years old twins are OK beside the laptop
10 year-old boys can break things by just looking at them. Get a more durable desk-top if it's a boy.
As a father of 3 boys who owns both a laptop and a couple desktops we would other try to keep the kids on the desktop computers.
There are a few reason, 1/spills and accidental break, for a laptop it can spell death, for the desktop we can glibly replace a keyboard.
2/ The the ivories layout of a desktop is larger and better shaped for typing.
3/ if they play games the sound is better on the desktop, eyeshade larger and processor is faster for the price.
The main sacrifice is portability.

A 10 year prehistoric is quite possibly developed enough to manipulate a laptop without breaking it. I have a laptop back when I be 11. Didn't ever drop it, didn't ever spill anything on it, nothing similar to that. However I did manage to seize it filled beside spyware and such (make sure your kid doesn't do that). Anyway, it would depend on the kid them self. Do you think he would break it, or would he mind with it?
