I be about to install img folder and so i had to donwload and install application for that but after have install the app. my laptop got hung and very soon its taking lot of time for processing and the taskbar at the bottom is also not visible.. Is here any problem with the app. or something else..please assist me out as my laptop is still new..

Yeah, it sounds similar to the software took it upon itself to load on startup! If this is freeware, uninstall it! Its probably infesting your workstation with malware! Let your notebook run a little and see if it boots up and afterwards remove that crap!
Start--------Run--------and type this " msconfig " --------- click Ok--------- and at the last tab calld " Start Up " find your app label and UNMARK it --------- restart your PC ---------- then reinstall your application :)
