HP, acer is as a rule cheaper, the graphics is better on the acer depends on what you want it for, i expect the acer is wifi, used to work for comet, and the only laptop in need was 299! hp come near more software, for these prices i would go for HP, if you can find better prices, which is plausible, then the acer

It depends if you're going to use it for gaming. The Acer has a superior graphics chip, so would be better for gaming. If you're predisposed to spend that amount of money on a laptop I'd suggest you take a look at the Rock Extreme reach at www. rockdirect.com
