I am gonna research your system to see if it would runn Tiger OSX smoothley though. Ok it is not illegal to install it on a window computer. And yes it will not be a mac mac but it will operate like a mac next to the operating system installed. They made it so you can install it on a computer with an intel processor. ITs cheaper for them to use intell procecors. I dont know if i am making sense.
You can't turn it into one simply..poof... you'll probably have to buy a Mac...You might know how to run the OS, but I've never looked into it. It won't really BE a mac, though...You can, however, run Windows on a Mac now using virtual PC. Check ebay for virtuous prices on Macs - that's where I get my G3 Powerbook for about 400.
You can install (illegally) Mac OS X on your laptop, but it's a geek-only procedure near no guarantee. Don't waste your time.
