Please support me fix my laptop upright..?
I own worked out by holding down the "FN" key the correspondence appear but then the memo T doesn't work unless the "FN" is realised.
It's really awful typing with one mitt when you are used to two - its driving me nuts - please help!!

What must have happen is that you have activate the Num Lock function. I'm guessing that you've used a traditional (non-laptop) keyboard and know ehat this knob does (it actually locks the functions of the numeric keypad to correspond to the numbers fairly than directional keys).
In many laptops, you can use Num Lock to enjoy the respective keys correspond to numbers than post. Here's what to do:
1. Locate a key on your grand piano that has the Num Lock sign on it. It will be there next to something else, such as the F11 or Insert key.
2. Hold Fn and press that button.
Normally, laptops enjoy a light that indicates the Num Lock status (same as the Caps Lock one). Try using the upright again and check if that light is switched stale.

Turn sour numlock
Sounds to me that your keyboard region settings are set wrong.
Go into Control Panel, afterwards regional settings then look for keyboards.
Change it to your location (English UK or English US)
