Dell Laptop?
Thanks contained by advance.
Answers:
Most of the unmarked Dells come with 2GBs of Ram and a 160 HD. A smooth screen, a core 2 duo T7100, and a NV8600(for better graphics and games) would be pious options to hold.
Stick with a HP at hand better than dell or any other computer
Get a MacBook or MacBook Pro.

If you really want a Dell, then check out the tentative Inspiron 1420 and 1520 models.

Get the best one money can buy, in my professional evaluation. Chances are, you're going to need a LOT of space if you're contained by college, and a LOT of space on a laptop means you NEED to carry a more expensive one. These kinds of things are usually integrated to the motherboard, so it's any all or nil.
Make really doesn't matter, but I SERIOUSLY suggest NOT getting a Mac; they're a distress to repair, and you have to introduction parts at INSANE prices. They also can't really be upgraded.
get an Apple Macbook!!
I would recommend a Dell laptop beside:
1. Lower-end dual-core Intel processor
2. 14" screen (for portability)
3. 2GB RAM
4. 60GB or more HDD
5. Vista Home
6. Weight < 7 lbs. max, 6 lb. preferable
7. Extra battery-operated if you are doing extended mobile work.
8. DVD burner
The Inspirion 1420 looks pretty good to me.

Dell is a pretty good choice for students. It is cheap, functional and works very well. When you hve more money later when you start working, buy a HP or Macboook. They are more costly and reliable.
