if u get a core2duo, at smallest 1 gig of ddr2 knock against, at least a 5400rpm hd over 80 gigs, a dvd burner, builtin wireless, and DEDICATED graphics preferrably nvidia turn in the +7900 field... then u will own a nice machine ...
depending on what you intend to use it contained by. if you are a gamer or a person that like to download movies or songs you should get the one beside the most memory
