I broke the hinge stale my laptop where on earth would i be in motion to fix it?
Answer:
Personally ... (don't laugh) ... I would purloin it to a jeweler or a clocksmith. They are accustomed to repairing delicate, intricate objects & a hinge is a hinge no issue what device it is on.
Years ago I had broken one of the socket pins on a Pentium 100 CPU chip. At the time this processor would cost me $400 to replace.
I took it to a jeweler who consequently soldered the broken pin back onto the CPU surrounded by less that 5 minutes.
I'm sure near is one in your neighborhood who will do the situation for you, & charge only a fraction of what a PC repair (or PC manufacturer) would.

If it's still under warranty, they will fix it for free. If not, try Ebay. Depending on your laptop model, you will have need of the correct part.
