Bad video playback on hi-res video near my dell inspion 8100?

i preserve getting a chunky playback on any hi-res video i play i have even reinstalled window and that did not work what do i do? but when i play a DVD it works just fine

Your problem is due to one OR MORE of the following issues: CPU, RAM, Graphics. If any of them are not up to par, you will achieve a LOT of choppyness. I can't play x264 1080p content on my core 2 duo e6300 with 2gb strike and a 7900gs, so i doubt you'll have seriously of luck playing too much HD content on an older laptop beside a pentium m.
