I bought command & conquer 3 and it requires 2.0ghz and my computer with the sole purpose have 1.79ghz. What should i do?
Answer:
Your cross-question is in laptops, if you own a laptop, the graphics could spell even more trouble for you. They have integrated graphics which resources you cannot upgrade it. They are also not good for gaming contained by general. The certified web site for C&C3 specificly mentions laptops within the requirements, did you notice it on the box?
Video: GeForce4, ATI Radeon 8500 or greater (ATI Radeon 9200 and 9250 PCI, NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX cards not supported.). Windows Vista - NVIDIA GeForce 6100 or ATI Radeon 9500 or greater. Labtop version of these chipsets may work but are not supported.
Good luck
Sadly you really should have checked this up to that time you got the hobby. You are going to have to lock into [ over clocking ] your processor to sort it run faster. But this dramatically increases the heat build up, which mode you will need to buy extra cooling.

Return or get rid of the game unless you plan to buy a exotic computer or processor.
You need a Faster CPU(Central Processing Unit). Find out what chip you hold now. This should inform you what socket your mobo has.
Once you know what socket you necessitate, you can shop for a faster chip. Judging by your current chips speed my guess is you have an elder AMD socket maybe 762, possible a 939 not sure.
As long as your up to date chip exceeds 2.0ghz (you should get the fastest you can) and have the same socket as your ripened one, and your mobo supports the new chip, it should be a simple switch of processors.
If you cant find a chip that runs nippy enough for you contained by your current socket configuration you will need a strange Motherboard also to fit the newer socket.
