How do I see Stand-By mode?

I can't put my computer into standby or hibernate mode and I requirement to. I go to turn bad my computer (I have the reaction screen but I requirement it on) and the Stand-By button is greyed out. Does anyone know how I can change that?

Answer:
You haven't set Advanced Power Management settings, any in BIOS or Windows.

Control panel >> Power option >> Advanced tab >> drop-down options for sleep and power buttons "stand-by" for any or both.

Setting the energy star settings for your monitor contained by Display Properties >> Screen Saver will bring up the same routine.

Go to start Control Panel and Power way out. Then click on Performance and maintenance and click on Power option and then do what you get to do from there
#Right click to Desktop>properties>blind saver>power>hibernate>enable hibernation>aplly>ok.

#If you wan to Hibernate from start manu that do this:
start>control panel>user accounts>swing the way users log on or off> Unchek Use the wellcome blind.
