Me and my friend get two 3690 aspire' at radio shack that will not regester the serial# at acer please advocate

Was it a display model?
Sometimes stores will register the serials to put together sure they dont miss the extended warranty deadlines and rebate when they use it for store use. I would double check with radio shack if it is a display model they have out.
Also, when registering with Acer, in that should be a little "How do i locate my serial number?" on the page you are using to register. Click this and double check it b/c sometimes they want you to exclude the later few digits or anything after parenthesis when typing this in their webpage :)
Call Acer or RadioShack. Why would you own to register a serial number? Anyway, maybe they are CaSe SeNsItIvE target type it in exactly as it appears, numbers and means letters if any.
get one from circuit city had impossible to tell apart problem. just preserve trying. best of luck if you have to contact their support, it usually take 2-3 tries to get them to answer question. Last acer i'll buy.
