They use "Nvidia" or "ATI" Video cards

ALL of these products are in existance contained by the pc world.

Windows VISTA is a COMPLETELY different operating system, it's like going from performance "10.0" to version "11.0" contained by the mac world.

The only plea I still own macs is
1) My mac mini is smaller than my previous "windows" based htpc.
2) Final Cut Pro. Not that I use it, it's that some clients use it, and I enjoy to be able to stretch out their work product, so that I can convert it to the faster, more efficient, more element rich alternative products that I use :-)

Not to stand on a soapbox or anything, but look inside any Apple computer, and then look inside a Dell or other PC, and you'll see which one is built better. Apple win hands down.
Apple is a honest quality brand signature, however they aren't any better than Dell's higher winding up machines, or IBM. There are a few reasons that you will spend more for any Apple. One is that Apple uses an OS explicitly proprietary. You can only run a Mac OS on a Mac tool, therefore they can ask a greater price because the Mac faithful will hold no choice but to pay the price. Since Apple doesn't hold the market share that Dell and various of the PC manufacturers do, they emergency a higher profit fringe on a per unit idea. Then there is the certainty that Apple just offer a good part product. Since they don't allow third party computers to run their OS, they hold more quality control. If you purchase a similarly priced Windows contraption from Dell or IBM for instance, you will find that same quality. I assume you are making the price comparison from a Mac to a lower closing stages PC. If you are, this is where the most important price difference will come into play, but you aren't comparing Apples to Apples so to speak.
Apple has be a pioneer in like mad of technology and has enthusiast clientele. I guess you have to settle the premium to get the technology. It have it's specialty and has her niche open market. You must really love Apple in command to comprehend it. Hope I help for a time.
The Emac is one of the worst quality computers ever built. We have 50 of them and every one had adjectives, faded screens inside two years. You can't replace CDs or hard drives and they weigh as much as a Buick. Fortunately they're adjectives gone to the dumpster now and we enjoy mini macs instead. OS X is a much better OS than Windows, but Apple hardware isn't anywhere near as virtuous as the MacNuts claim it is.
for those who whine about the Mac's exposure and the computer itself or who down it do that for two reasons...one, they love control-alt-delete....two, because they cannot afford a Mac and know that it is the better tool, so the down it...Macs are the superior computer as an answer to this question for several reasons
-Macs DO NOT find viruses
-Macs dont bring back spyware, malware, worms, trojans
-Macs do not get popups
-If something go wrong with a Mac, its usually the users denounce
-You can dual boot OS's with no problem
-you can waddle down the computer isle of a Wal*Mart and never worry in the order of getting spyware remover, antivirus programs, firewalls, washing programs, or hardrive verbs up or restoration software
-A Mac can tell the difference between a program and directory...ususally the file is the virus and the program is something you download
-Windows asks if its alright to run a program, it asks "Permission," whereas on a Mac, it asks for "authentication"...this channel that you cannot make any change to anything in the system preferences or any other critical aspect without the users password, whether you are surrounded by their account or not..Macs are built nontoxic
Its the Macs quality to do everything a PC can do but better and more restructured...Apple isn't about brand autograph, they are about their machines and service, unlike Windows flaunting give or take a few their Windows version of OS X Tiger...Vista..trust me, anyone who requests to argue with me can move about right ahead, but Mac's are the superior computer hands down
