I want to upgrade the memory of my laptop,i own 512 mb notebook 4200 on it.can i buy 1 gb workstation 4200 and combine witth

will it create problem or conflict?so if below par have money again under the weather buy 1 gb in decree for me to have 2 gb memory storage.i hold only 2 memory slots if i buy 512 again i cant upgrade it anymore because i already own 512mb installed.

Should not be a problem combining the two, just build sure your computer doesn't have a restrain on how big of a RAM chip you can put in. If you don't enjoy limits try using a 2GB stick. It will make available you a major boost although it will cost more.
