Macbook cross-question. I really inevitability lend a hand!?

My father get me a macbook brand new a year ago so we could communicate via i chat. My poor macbook have taken a beating (or two) surrounded by the last year and be basically dropped sturdy onto a wood floor. The comp was adjectives messed up. Now my dad bought me a plane ticket to fly out to see him next month and he requirements to install some new programs on my computer but it would break his heart to know that my computer isnt contained by top shape.Other than the disk drive everything is running fine on my computer so I am wondering how do i go give or take a few getting a new disk drive? I looked on macs website and I get the impression that they dont breed replacement parts for it. Any Advice please?
