Are Apple computers competent to play PC games?
Well...That's basically my query.
I'd also like to use programs surrounded by OSX such as MSN Messenger, is it possible? Or with adjectives I want should I just stick to Microsoft and a run of the mill PC?
Thanks a lot. =]

Hello Victor F,
Yes, go and get a newer Intel-based Mac and you can download Bootcamp from the Apple web site (and next later, Windows):

You can also relish many Mac version of those Windows programs. However, instead of downloading the MSN IM program, why don't you download Adium for the Mac instead. It works a lot better than MSN, and you can simultaneously get hold of access to AIM, Yahoo! IM and countless other IM servers.
Once you start using OS X, you will soon wonder why you wasted so much of your time beside Windows. Best of luck to you.

i think it works
I hold an iMac with WinXP installed to mostly play games. It does a great undertaking at it. I play Call of Duty 2, WOW (in MacOS), Need for Speed Carbon, and a few others. I can play them will the settings up high and no padding at all.
You might want to bring back a Macbook pro is you want to play games since it has the better video card.
Also, MSN messenger have a Mac version it doesn't hold as many features but it works okay.
Get a Mac. They enjoy really good video cards and later you can install WinXP on them so you have no compatibility problems. It would work clearly.
You fool! you should have gotten an Alien ware of a Sage. (dual nvidia cards) what more do you want............................. its too deferred. o well swot from your mistakes
