Macbook Pro?

This topple I'll be purchasing a new personal Laptop. I'm thinking roughly going with a Macbook Pro next to Leopard. My question is how compatible will it be beside Windows machines. For instance if I have M.S. Office files to share can I do that? If I own Windows-based games like World of Warcraft will I have need of Mac versions or can I use my current CDs? Most importantly I’m going to grad university in the slop. I assume most of my classmates will be using windows laptops. How will our file/program sharing progress? Will I be a big pain within the ****?

Part of the fun and intrigue of a Mac is ease of use and exploring "Mac Computing" after adjectives these years of being on Windows machines. But I don't want to be on an island.

Thanks for your thoughts.

FYI: an interesting article (from one, myself, who is within the struggle of deciding...) http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,129284...
You know, on the foreign Leopard OS you can run Windows on a Mac using Parallels and on Tiger using a software included, but IDK the name. Believe me I get my Macbook Pro, and I will NEVER go put a bet on to Windows.
