My baby grand on my laptop have stopped working - back?

I enjoy a Fujitsu Siemens laptop, which is pretty brand new. The other daytime the laptop stopped working all together. Now some characters work but others don't. Does anyone out at hand have any view what the problem may be?

Answer:
Reboot the Laptop.

Go into BIOS Setup.

Setup BIOS defaults.

Save and exit.

If the chip that controls the Keyboard is OK after everything will be fine. At the most, the worst thing that can arise is that you may have to regulation the Laptop Keyboard Module.

Good Luck.
How did you type all that next?
The keyboard is connected to the motherboard by a ribbon cable. It woud appear that in attendance is a lost connection on some of that cable (some key work)

Depending on how bad the flop is you may be able to:

Remove the the ivories fixing screws pull up the keyboard a small amount and un-plug and re-plug the ribbon at the motherboard run out (lift the locking bar first)

HEY YOU SAID IT WAS FAIRLY NEW !!

It should still be below manufacturer's warranty, take it subsidise !
HI,
Did your laptop come with a repossession disk if it did just try a recouping on your system. Hope this helps.
