Changed ISP, immediately hold internet access issues?

Hi! We changed ISPs from SBC to Roadrunner. Hubby uses a desktop and he get online just fine. I lately a laptop with a wireless card. My wireless router is a Linksys. Since we switched to the Roadrunner modem, I still grasp a connection to my router, but I can't access the internet. Called Roadrunner Techs and they don't support Linksys, so they weren't much help out. I had matching problem with SBS, not supporting Linksys so they wouldn't support. Last time I called Linksys they couldn't numeral it out. It actually took some immature guy who was visit us to fix the problem. But he's in Missouri and can't serve. Any ideas? This is frustrating.

When ever making change to a Wireless router, it should be done via Ethernet not Wirelessly. When changes are done Wirelessly, the wireless nouns could be cut off after making a convert, so Linksys highly recommend configuring the Wireless router via Ethernet.
Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape)
When the browser open, go to the "Address" dowel and input the IP address of the Wireless Router (The default IP Address is 192.168.1.1).
A "User Name" and "Password" prompt will appear, be off the "User Name" field blank and input the Wireless Routers password (The defaulting password of a Linksys Router is admin) into the "Password" field.
After the "Setup" Page loads, click on the Wireless tab.
On the front of the Wireless Router in attendance should be a Wireless-G or Wireless-B light and it should be solid or flickering. If it is not solid or flickering that method that the unit is not transmitting a wireless signal. If this is the suitcase try powering down the Wireless Router for 30 second, then powering hindmost up.

If power cycling does not help, later make sure that "Wireless" is set to Enable and/or that the "Wireless Network Mode" is set to Mixed on the "Basic Wireless Settings" nouns.

If the above is enabled, then try upgrading the firmware, step to http://www.linksys.com/download,... if that doesn't help take the product replaced by visiting https://ssl.linksys.com/rma1.asp.
It would be exceptionally difficult to sort out a problem like this on Yahoo Questions. I would recommend contacting your ISP again or gain a technicion in to hold a look.
