I am looking to buy a laptop near a 14-15.4 screen, brand does not situation, in a store, not online, near 2gb ram, and Win XP Professional. Has anyone see any. I have looked at BestBuy,Office Depot,Staples, and they are getting their shelves in position for Vista. I am not ready for Vista however. Thank you! Liz

You're asking for an increasingly bloody computer, given how the retail market works. Not lots retail companies will take a randomness on selling a computer with XP Pro on it; they own enough trouble next to depreciation as it is.

Therefore, you have two choices; any buy online, or buy a computer with Vista on it. I recommend the former, but I've sneered at retail computers for at least possible the last 5 years. Dell is probably your best choice.
