I use hibernate, it shuts the LT stale but you do not have to reboot on the start. Yes warmness is the big killer of LTs. Plus here is the possibility of a power surge.

Well after I own finished using my laptop I turn it off, and consequently at the mains aswell, if it is plugged contained by.

1. Saves electricity
2. I know it won't cause a fire if overheated.
3. The aficionado can get overheated and blow if departed on for long periods.
And come on, What does it nick to turn it off when you've finished using it, and later click a button when you want to turn it on again ?
