I own a Gateway laptop that have an obnoxiously loud enthusiast, anyone own id's how to silent the monster?

I enjoy owned the fan for three years, and as long as I can remember the disciple noise have been an issue. I googled a solution but it be too techy for me to follow.

Answer:
You can't really quiet the animal. If it was other a problem, then I guess it's spinning that brisk (more noise) to prevent the thing from overheating. You can probably replace the adherent for a more quiet one, but afterwards like I said the laptop may overheat.
Get a unmarked fan. It could also be a quivering on a loose part of the exterior. Pinpoint the crack to find out if the fan or a shuddering is causing you this audible distress.
