seems that the speaker on you laptop is busted.
is it simply onw speaker, or for both the left and right speakers?
try nudge the speakers, and it usually works again. sometimes, its just have a loose wire.
if your audible range small creaking or crakling sound, it nouns work fine after nudging a bit.
if it still doest work, best hold it checked.
If there's no crossed-out speaker in the right appendage end of the start inn... try plugging earphones (from your MP3 player perhaps) into the headphone socket... if you hear nouns then your speaker is unmoving or disconnected.
If you don't hear sound later maybe the amp surrounded by the laptop is dead or the electrics is unplugged.
Or does your laptop have a 'sound off' button? Mine does... within Windows it turns the sound stale and doesn't show anything on the display... in Linux it sets the 'no sound' symbol surrounded by the equivalent to the start bar.
If you've get it set to full volume DO NOT put the earphones contained by and start playing sound... you could break your hearing if they work.
In the control panel ensure that nought is selected as Mute underneath sounds.
Try connecting external speakers and see if that works. If it is then nearby is problem with your laptop speakers, if it is not consequently the soundcard needs to be replaced.
If it's none of the above. try to transform the driver or download an updated driver from the website of the PC "brand" you have. Normally they own systems to detect which system you have and which driver go with it.
But it's natural to recognize adjectives the above written by others "QAPOP.com "... restart your PC. does it make the Microsoft nouns, when it boots up? If yes... speaker is fine. than it should be the driver of your PC, drivers will be loaded while windows is started up.
