I lately get an matured Toshiba TECRA8000 Laptop. I want to grasp wireless internet for it. What should I do?

The laptop is nice of old, I know it isn't wireless powerful yet. I dont even know where on earth i would put the wireless adapter if I got one. The computer does enjoy one USB port on it thought. I also have 3 desktop computers surrounded by my house right now hooked up through a linksys wired router. I simply want to be able to bring my laptop wireless, what do I need to do
