right click "my computer" > "properties" - and look down where it say's Computer. It have the info there. (ie. System Properties)
Click on the apple within the top left corner and click About this Mac.
To check the amount of RAM enjoy your friend click on the Apple icon within the top left of the menu block, then click on "About This Mac." That will transmit the OS version, the processor speed and the amount of memory surrounded by RAM that's on the iBook.
