I necessitate something I can down load PDF files and audio files to and rob with me. I'm not really interested within a notebook computer, they"re just too expencive. I'm looking something next to a decent sized peak but not too much bigger then a paperback book.

So you don't want a notebook? That's tough... The smallest computer I've see was at Fry's Electronics, but it's a notebook. It be probably the size of a normal size paperback book and have lots of memory and you can download audio files. Plus, it plays DVDs. It was roughly speaking $6000 though.
