Advent or Toshiba?

I own a Toshiba laptop and have be more than pleased with it. I remunerated 750euros (approximately lb500). I can't give any suggestion re the Advent laptop as I don't know anyone or have never owned one. I would absolutely buy a Toshiba again.
The Toshiba is a more popular and well specified brand name and ably respected. I have have an advent and must admit I have no problems with it.
If both specs are one and the same why waste the extra dosh
Having said that check and the gaurantee being given near both and decide which is the better matter

I've owned the same Advent desktop for times past 7 years and its not failed once (I've done a couple of upgrades to it obviously) so I'd def buy an advent again. Never used a Toshiba though so can't comment on those
I would dance for Toshiba every time because of the warranty, Advent is made for PC world and you don't want to pay out for in that special cover. Toshiba should deal near you direct if you have a problem.
I found sony warranty greatly good also but this may be too expensive.
I would also presume about buying a laptop bad ebay nearly new, you should win a good deal, I am using one immediately off ebay.

I own(ed) an advent, and it have sadly died on me (The adaptor pin come out, and theres a burning smell inside the laptop. It even burnt me once). It is purely some other crappy make of laptop re-branded so PC WORLD can rake surrounded by lots of cash. Some of the other stories of advent's are pretty frightening (someone's advent laptop even CAUGHT FIRE- this was on the unofficial advent support forum, as here is no official support).
Do the right entity and go next to the toshiba!
Hi.I'm on my 10th Toshiba.Right now near is nothing better at the price.I work for one of the big organization companies here in U.K. and guess what we use Toshiba.If anything should budge wrong then the Toshiba backup is great.I'm an manufacture and when I phone them I get put straight through to one of their engineers to sort problems out.
