What is the difference between RAM & ROM? where on earth are both of these memory's situated surrounded by computer?

Answer:
Rom, read one and only memory is where your programs and background are stored. Ram, random access memory is the actual nouns that your programs and data are moved to when you run them! Lets influence you have a music program you want to run, the processor or brain tell your PC to look in the easier said than done drive (rom) and find and load the program into strike! Simple to understand and it should take home you aware of why ram is prominent! The more stuff you have running, the smaller quantity ram you hold left! Many society overload their ram and later scratch their bum wonderin why their system is so slow! Good cross-examine by the way! If 90 percent of the users unknown this, they would have far smaller number problems!
A lot of people use the occupancy “memory” when discussing the hard drive. It’s a adjectives error.

RAM (random access memory) is where programs that are anyone used currently by the processor to run the program are held. This clears when you lose power or shut down the computer.

ROM (read only memory) is where on earth all programs on your computer are stored till needed. This is the frozen drive; items stay stored here until you remove them. So when explaining the basics of how this works, I use this simple example.

Think of the tough drive (ROM) as a file cabinet. It contains adjectives the programs your computer needs to operate. The (RAM) can be described as a desktop. The processor is the worker. So when you open out a program, you want to work on .It moves from the filing cabinet, to the desk .This is where on earth all the work is organized and used buy the “worker”. When work on that program is done and you close the program, it’s placed subsidise, into the file cabinet. The same happen when you shut down the system.

But if you have a system “crash” or a power flop while working on something, it’s lost. I say it’s resembling a windows stretch out and a strong breeze blows everything off the desk earlier you can put it away.

By this example you can see how a couple old computer adage make sense. You can never own too much storage or too much RAM. i.e.; big filing cabinet and life-size desk. The amount of RAM is one of, if not THE most high-status parts of your system. RAM in the end couple of years as gotten very inexpensive. So it make adding more to an elder system a very flawless option to breathe exotic life into it. The speed that programs operate from this simple metamorphosis will make you have an idea that you have a latest system.

There are several different types of RAM and setups on different motherboards. Far more types than I will get into, as this is expected as a “non-technical” overview of RAM. You can check your manual and or the computer architect to find out what type of RAM you have.Alot depends on the age of the computer. RAM is honourably easy to install, but if that make you feel self-conscious, a friend might help. If not it doesn’t cost much to enjoy a tech do it. If your system is two or three years old or newer, calculation RAM is a good move. If your system is elder than that then it may be time to look into getting a current system. So much has be improved the later couple years in overall system presentation that you’d gain from getting a new one. If you own a fairly hot system and are doing new things next to it, like photo and video work, conceivably games. Then adding RAM, will greatly amend, whatever it is you are doing.

I hope this help, in explaining the ground rules, of RAM and ROM in a tangible world example. So that it might be explained to a beginner or one that take the approach,” I don’t care how it works, lately so it does”. :) I’ve built several systems from scratch, and savour helping friends and family (usually) near computer problems.

RAM is the memory space where your application and other information gets loaded whenever you are working. You cannot work directly near the applications, which you have installed within your computer. When you click a application, for eg. MSWord, it will get loaded surrounded by to RAM first, and then with the sole purpose you can work with it.

ROM is used to store system orient data, which are used for system booting, startup, loading, etc. The ROM enable the computer to find out the operating system present, and then invokes the OS to be booted.

RAM is volatile ( erasable ) and ROM is non-volatile ( non-erasable ).

ROM is non-volatile because in attendance will not be any need for the user to regulation the settings. But now a days Erasable ROMs are available but they will be handle only by computer professionals but not by everyday users.

Both RAM and ROM are present in the Motherboard of the computer. The size or RAM will be close to a slot which will have 8 - 10 memory chips. ROM primarily will be a single chip attached to the mother board.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory and ROM stands for Read solely memory. Ram is temporary (volatile)memory while ROM is permanent(nonvolatile) memory. When you switched rotten of your computer the program strored in the RAM will be removed. You can read and write contained by RAM while in Rom You can one and only read the data. Basically chipset(BIOS), Booting programs stored contained by ROM. When we open any appication, it impermanent store in RAM. ROM is situated contained by Chip.and RAM is situated at Mother board provided slots.
RAM is random acces memory which is situated inside the computer CPU box
if you havent see it before
a short time ago identify it by its look, its look like a level i mean rule
and the rom is the cd or dvd drive..
actuall rom medium read only memory
in that are a lot of roms
cds and dvds come lower than this catogory
and in the motherboard near is a rom in which bios is installed
