What is the max memory (ram) supported by a T7200 Intel Core Duo 2?

I own a Dell Inspiron E1505 with a T7200 2.00Ghz processer Core Duo 2. more specs:
120gb 5400rpm (sata??) WD not easy drive with 8mb cache.
256mb x1400 radeon graphics.
2 * 512mb knock against = about 1 gb of RAM.

I singular have two slots. I be wondering if my laptop would be able to touch 2 sticks of 2gb ram totalling 4gb or whether it have a limit of individual 2gb? Also as per the listed specs would the 4gb (if compatible) give a significant and practical boost in ceremony compared to the 2gb? Will it complement my slow 5400 rpm hard drive or do I requirement to replace that also with a 7200rpm? Thanks surrounded by advance.

Answer:
It isn't the processor that edges the amount of RAM your computer can take...it is the motherboard of the computer that edges it. If you are using Windows XP, the maximum amount of RAM that it supports is 4GB. However, it is very possible that your computer's motherboard one and only supports 2GB of RAM. I would check with Dell or look it up surrounded by the manual that come with your computer. Hope this help...
Unfortunately, the max for your model is 2 Gig. It's not the CPU, but the chipset that limits this.
yes u can ur notebook support 2gb
