What's the proper route of hibernate your laptop and how do you seize a driver update?

In insinuation to my previously asked question in the order of standby/hibernate... I have another cross-question about alike... I found this information online... Someone else said: "Certain laptops will occasionally have trouble resuming from standby state – my latest one for example. If I put my new one within standby (by closing the lid), when I wake it up, I own a black screen. The computer's running, but the peak doesn‘t wake up. I do not enjoy that problem if I hibernate it, so I always use Hibernate instead. Often the laptop businesswoman or video card manufacturer may own a driver update to fix such a problem." So again, what's the proper way of setting the hibernate settings and how do I retrieve the driver updates to stop my blind from occasionally going black and requiring a manual restart?

Answer:
i would recommend you properly shutdown your laptop!
driver updates are provided at the manufacturer website and now most of them have a automatic update option you might involve to install a software for first time then after that it will hold over the updating job itself when ever you are connected to internet!

It would be nice if you can state the Operating system, laptop gross model no etc it helps to answer your question accurately the exact model no of laptops are always below it on a sticker!

hope that helps?
