Answer:
There comes a point where on earth you have to sacrifice counterbalance for computer capability (power, speed, graphics). If freight is a problem, I would recommend not getting a laptop with a high-end illustrative card (Intel's GMA should suffice for most entertainment purposes, unless you also do intense gaming which would require an upper-end graphic card, which equals more weight). For processor, bring Intel's Duo Core 2 or AMD's dual core solution. For processor speed, probably 1.6 or 1.8 GHZ is sufficient. HD space you'll probably need at least possible 80 gigs (running at 7200 rpm if you want the speed). And get at most minuscule 2 gigs of RAM. And the best way to win what you want isn't to buy pre-made computers; go to Sony, Dell, HP, Apple, etc and custom brand name your own.
