Can anyone detail me how to fix my laptop's internal wireless internet?

i enjoy a toshiba satellite m20 and it's not using the internal wireless. there'e a a switch on the side that says that it's activate and indicator light say it's on but it's not functioning. i have no notion what to do to make it work again; can someone please serve me?

oh and also my sound system on the laptop doesn't work. it used to work and after one day zilch came out of my speakers or my headphone jack. i'm more concerned in the order of the internet right now but suggestions on how to fix my nouns system would also be greatly appreciated!

Answer:
If you are running Windows Xp, go to Start, Settings, Network Connections and find your wireless nouns..right click and see if its disable or enabled..even if it looks enabled...click disable and then right click and re-enable it. This should bring it fund. Your sound card might be disabled as resourcefully..or the driver is incorrect. Go to .Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, then tab to Hardware and to Device Manager...look to see if your Sound Device have a yellow ! subsequent to it..if so..delete the sound card and reboot the PC...
What type of wireless router do you enjoy, and type of internet connection?
