Answers:
No you cannot upgrade the Graphics card or CPU on a LT. It would almost be resembling rebuilding the entire unit from cut into. They are integrated into the mother board.
Dear Upgrade-
I build custom gaming machines. I can tell you this, "Dell" stands for slower than HELL!
Have a look at the website below and prepare to drool!! Oh Yeah!
Depending on the type of games that you intend on playing, you will definately be better rotten building your own machine. Its really not that difficult any as Windows XP Professional practically does all of the work for you.
I hold not upgraded to Windows Vista yet as one of my close friends works for Microsoft, and he said that Vista is have some real issues near reliability and stability. I would strongly suggest that you hold off on the Vista Upgrade until subsequent year sometime.
Just be aware that Vista is also a resource hog. The more RAM you install, the more it uses to propegate is operations, which is something that XP Professional does not do.
You might also hold past its sell-by date a few months until the prices on the 8800 series cards come down a little too, (right around Xmas).
