Which is better toshiba or dell inspiron 6400 laptop??

The 6400 have been replaced from Dell small business next to the Vostra line. It be a good LT but the Vostra is a big rise in price, durability(alloy case), and option availible.
Toshiba is a top brand, depends on the model and options. A little resembling apples and oranges comparing a specific line to an entire brand.

Both are good. Get specs of both and kind a side by side comparison.
I have a Toshiba, but merely because I caught a weekend sale and get it for $299. Of course, it only have 512mb RAM, but I don't do games, video or music, so it is adequate for me. I hang on to my RAM as free as possible by loading only that which I use day by day, loading other software on an as-needed basis. My wallpaper and screensavers are set to none.
Budget! previously you decide which laptop you would wanna buy, resolve the budget. from this you will have register of laptop options. later reduce the resort by below prorities. (Mine budget was $1700)
1. See the pictographic card memory! minimal it has 256 mb and faithful (not shared) memory would be good choice. [This one shouldnt be tolerated rationale you cannot change illustrative card on laptop]
2. DVD-RW, not DVD combo. Newest technology (blu-ray) would be awesome.
3. 14.1" max! 12" better. [weight of laptop would be the issue]
4. After sales service! Warranty!
5. Operating System (will stir with the price)
You will grasp your laptop by selecting beside above priorities.
