Airplane/laptop Help!?
Answer:
No. You can bear it on the plane for sure, but 'wireless internet' does not mean that you can simply connect to the internet anywhere.
First of adjectives you need a wireless web to connect to. Like at your home, you would take a wireless router, connect it to your regular internet nouns, and it would then broadcast that internet nouns throughout your home.
A lot of coffee shops/restraurants now grant wireless connectivity, some are pay-as-you-go, some are free as long as you are a patron.
There are also a few cell phone companies within the US, (not sure of Canada), that offer wireless internet through a special adapter that connects to their cell see.
Hope that helps,
Cheers
um contained by ur dreams...nope
No, there is no wifi on a plane.
Nope! Even if some type of internet from something similar to GPS worked they wont not let you. It could interfere near the navigation system of the airplane.
It depends if the plane have an access point(router) and provide internet access..If they don't, here is no way u can access the internet no thing how good is ur laptop..
There is parley that some airlines will offer internet connections within the future. But it's not available immediately
Some Trans-Pacific flights offer Internet access onboard - but not wireless. And it costs a ton too.
I simply came across a site that sends you a laptop for free! I'm order mine right now, it's a Sony VAIO and it looks really hot!
