well im not sure give or take a few those but dell inspiron 1200 is what i have and they are cheap, play dvds, dutiful for messenger and im 12 and i like it a great deal so they are good for kids. its basically the basic entity.

I have the Dell E1705, which is a bigger E1505. This laptop is great. The mobile life is long (it would later even longer in an E1505), and the display is bright.
Make sure you bring back plenty of RAM (I would suggest 1GB or more), and a halfway clad processor (go with the Pentium Core Duo (or Duo 2), the Pentium Core Solo is a spend of your money. I would suggest, with the Core Duo, a 1.66 GHz/667MHz processor or higher).

I would imagine that a righteous E1505 setup (of couse, depending on the Dell special at the time) could go for roughly speaking $1,000 or $1,100.
I have a dell 1501 and similar to it alot, I went near the AMD 64x2 and it is very hurriedly, i also upgraded to the tru vue screen, the simply thing i would do different is walk with the better battery-operated if you will be using it without the a/c, Batteries second about 2 hours. But its a nice laptop for the money and yes it have a built in wireless card, dvds play greatly well and nouns is good
